Summary

This website sets no cookies, no trackers and uses no analytics or advertising services. No third-party fonts or scripts are loaded; fonts are delivered together with the site.

Hosting via GitHub Pages

The site is served through GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). According to GitHub's documentation, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes. We have no access to this data. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation. Data may be transferred to the USA; GitHub's privacy terms apply. A move to hosting in Switzerland is planned. Once it has happened, we will adjust this notice. If you do not want your IP address to reach GitHub when you visit, you can open the site through a VPN or the Tor network.

Local storage

The only thing stored in your browser is a note that you have read this notice (localStorage, key opsek-hinweis). It never leaves your device.

Contact

The «Write safely» window on this page does not send or store anything itself. What you type there stays in your browser. Only when you choose «Open mail program» does your mail program start with a prepared message to kontakt@opsek.ch. It is sent only when you press Send there. Ordinary email is not encrypted and passes through the servers of your and our mail provider. We use your details only to answer your enquiry and do not pass them on.

Controller and your rights

The controller is OPSEK Community Switzerland (see legal notice). Under the Swiss Data Protection Act you may request access, correction and deletion: kontakt@opsek.ch.
